Press Release – Fieldfisher joins as a new Professional Member

TACT – The Association of Corporate Trustees approves Fieldfisher as its first professional member

TACT – The Association of Corporate Trustees is pleased to announce that the law firm Fieldfisher was recently approved as its first professional member.

Fieldfisher specialises in advising corporate trustees on securitisation and other structured finance transactions and has a long association with TACT – The Association of Corporate Trustees.
TACT – The Association of Corporate Trustees is a recognised professional body which aspires to educate and inform, track and influence developments, inform and engage members and advance knowledge and practice of quality trusteeship.

Founded in 1974, membership of TACT had previously been restricted membership to corporate trustees who agreed to adhere to the constitution, articles of association and code of practice of the association. However, TACT has recently created a new professional membership, to enable all firms that advise trustees to become members of the association. Professional Members will still need to adhere to TACT’s membership requirements but will enjoy all TACT member benefits.

The Chairman of the Loan Capital & Capital Markets Committee of TACT, Helena Giles said “It is our pleasure to approve Fieldfisher as TACT’s first Professional Member. Fieldfisher has advised corporate trustees on a wide variety of transactions over the last 30 years and we are pleased to recognise their valuable contribution to trusteeship. We look forward to welcoming other Professional Members to TACT and to continuing to develop the association.”

Fieldfisher partners Alex Campbell and Gonzalo Fernandez said “We value our long-standing relationship with TACT very much and we are delighted that we are now a Professional Member of the association. We look forward participating in training and networking events organised by TACT and to helping the association with the advancement of quality trusteeship.”
